Rate Your Hairdresser is an invaluable tool for attracting new clientele, establishing your reputation and marketing your skills. This site is currently available to all hairdressers and salons across Canada and the United States.

Rate Your Hairdresser offers 3 advertising options:

A. Front Page

The front page (right side menu)  is a great option for salon owners and hairdressers alike. This where you'll really stand out from the crowd. But don't let the name fool you. The 'front page' (right side menu) is actually on every page. So, whether users are searching, browsing or even adding hairdressers, your ad will be visible. The only time users won't see your ad is if they are on a premium listing.

Front page advertisements can be purchased: weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually. Placement sizes available in: 125x125, 125x250, 125x500 and 125x1000.

B. Premium Listing

A premium listing is two-part listing that users will land on when they search for your profile. Premium listings are available for $24.99 CAD/month or $249.99 CAD/year. Premium listings are ad-free and users will land on your premium listing before they see your basic listing with ratings & comments.

Premium listings consist of two pages. The first page details your salon information. (Includes photos, address, contact information, products, servics & prices.) The second page contains your basic contact information as well as the ratings & comments from clients.


The premium listing includes:

A link to your basic listing
Photo gallery (5 photos & 1 logo image)
Detailed description of services
List of products used
List of prices
Link to personal/salon website
E-mail address
Ad-free listing

To get started with your premium listing, first create your basic listing. You will be given an option to upgrade to premium.

C. Basic Listing

We encourage every hairdresser to create their own basic (free) listing. It's a great way to get exposure and drive clients to your chair. Also, with your own basic listing, you can update your city, salon and contact information. So, if you change locations, but don't have a way to reach all of your clients, they can look to Rate Your Hairdresser for your new details.

Rating & comments by clients
